The top end of the mattress market has been charactirised in the last few years by an increasing use of washable and elasticated fabrics.

In line with these demands, Stellini Textile Group has developed an alternative to knitted fabric and the result is ELASTAR®.

ELASTAR® is a collection of fabrics in different contructions and weigths based principally on the use of yarns  made of cotton, polyester and nylon.
The fabrics are available in a wide range of designs and colours in variable widths form 220 cms to 230 cms.
The very high quality of the yarns used and the special processing give the fabrics in the ELASTAR® range the following advanteges:
Beautifully soft handle.

Controlled elasticity across the warp and the weft.
Colour fast, washable to 60 degrees centigrade with very little shrinkage.

ELASTAR® is also produced in a flame retardant version without losin any of the above characteristics.
